Israel parliament set to vote on settlements bill
The clause that would have circumvented that court ruling, however, was removed from the bill following coalition infighting. On Monday, the Israeli leader said he had informed the Trump White House that a vote on the legislation was imminent.
Hyundai credits the hatch's "taut yet comfortable" ride and handling to the car's stronger, stiffer structure. The Elantra GT comes with a 2.0-liter inline-four that doles out around 162 horsepower and a yet-to-be-specified amount of torque. (112 m) of structural adhesive. The GT Sport also has larger front and rear brake rotors and larger wheels. It looks good, regardless of whether you're looking at the GT Sport (the gray one in our gallery) or the standard GT (that's the red guy). That's an impressive feat when competitive vehicles only hit the mid 40s for cargo volume. (0.7 cu. -m), up from 23 cu. -ft. The Elantra shape lends well to the GT. Combine the sharp styling with an available 201-hp turbocharged four-cylinder (and a standard six-speed manual transmission), and this new Hyundai has the potential to be a formidable challenger to segment favorite hatchbacks such as the Honda Civic and the Volkswagen Golf. Hyundai's engineers also developed a new suspension setup for this new Elantra hatch that was track tested on the legendary Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit. The GT sports 25 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats up, and 55.1 cubic feet of space with the rear seats folded. The dashboard is dominated by an 8-inch touch screen that runs Hyundai's Blue Link infotainment system. The model features updated powertrains and a new look that distinguishes it from other entries in the Hyundai lineup. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration are standard; a premium Infinity audio system and wireless smartphone charging are available. Hyundai has enhanced the remote start with climate control feature so drivers can now activate the rear defroster and heated side mirrors before they ever step into the auto. Also, those with a Blue Link account linked to an Amazon Alexa-enabled device can ask Alexa to start their auto and set a specific interior temperature. Hyundai reports that the EPA will classify the Elantra GT as a large auto because it's so big inside, an unheard of rating for a vehicle in this segment.
