Kate Middleton, William welcomed by President Francois Hollande at the Elysée

During a busy first day in the French capital Kate wore a stunning evening gown to a star-studded dinner on Friday, while the Duke spoke about the enduring bonds between the United Kingdom and France.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have heard the moving stories of Bataclan terrorist attack survivors as France was rattled by a security incident at a major airport.

Apart from the above-detailed events, Prince William and Kate Middleton also appeared at a rugby match between Wales and France which took place at Stade de France in Saint-Denis, situated outside of the French capital.

She was shot on her birthday as she dined with three female friends outside the restaurant, who all survived the attack.

It's been almost two decades since Prince William has traveled to Paris, France. But for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, it's an occasion to go above and beyond with green fashion-and, yes, beer consumption.

Prince William and Kate Middleton jetted to the City of Lights on Friday (March 17), marking William's first official trip to the city since the passing of his mother Princess Diana.

To add to the royal scandal, Prince William was also spotted partying and having lunch with former model Sophie Taylor who is famous for her raunchy pictures and many controversies.

Their jam-packed Friday began with the couple celebrating St. Patrick's Day with Irish Guards soldiers in West London.

Later in the day, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended a black-tie dinner and reception hosted by Edward Llewellyn, Britain's ambassador to France, at the British Embassy.

He spent just 13 of the first 72 days of this year on royal duties. The prince has travelled to France for various events but until this weekend had not visited in an official capacity.
