Latest Instagram update adds face filters and more

Users who have already used or using Snapchat will not be finding much difference between the Snapchat's and Instagram's Face Filters.

But now it's adding filters to Instagram, which is a big deal because Instagram is Facebook's best chance to slow Snap's momentum. To see all eight in action, just open the camera and then select the face icon in the bottom right corner. The app's camera now includes a "Rewind" feature that shares videos in reverse. Just like Snapchat, you tap a filter to try it on and there are individual and group filters to use with friends in the frame. You can add a hashtag to a story with text, or the new hashtag stick. Then there's an eraser, which disguises your photo or video and lets you drag a brush to reveal certain parts of the shot.
