After a cryptic, drip-drop, almost weeklong lead-up complete with easter-eggs - like putting "ivegotablankspace" in a website's source code - created to stoke theorizing by superfans, Swift confirmed via social media that the album Reputation will arrive November 10, and fans should expect its first single Thursday night.

Swift announced the news in several Instagram posts and a tweet Wednesday.

Along with the title, Swift debuted the album cover, which features a much darker look than the bright neons of her 1989 era alongside her name in various newspaper-style fonts. The first single off the album will also drop Thursday night.

It's been a long three years since the 10-time Grammy winner's record-breaking album "1989" thrilled fans and critics alike, but that hasn't stopped her from topping Billboard charts.

The two graphics Swift uploaded alongside the album art are included below. The album won four Grammy Awards, with Swift becoming the youngest Album of the Year victor.
