Royal baby: Duchess well after 'anxious' start to pregnancy

14 September 2017

The Palace released a statement yesterday confirming that Kate was expecting her third child.

On Tuesday, Prince William attended the National Mental Health and Policing conference in Oxford, England, and, not surprisingly, the duke was asked about Kate Middleton's pregnancy.

The baby will become fifth in line to the throne behind Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, and will be the Queen's sixth great-grandchild.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are already parents to 4-year-old Prince George and 2-year-old Princess Charlotte.

However, sources say Middleton is still in the first trimester of her pregnancy.

Bahamas' beaches left bone dry after Hurricane Irma sucks up the water
Footage of a dry Bahamas shoreline hit the internet shortly after Irma swept through the Caribbean Islands. According to meteorologists, low tides and distant storm surge are also contributing to the phenomenon.

Kate worked maternity chic like a true style pro when pregnant with Prince George and then repeated it again in stellar fashion for her pregnancy with Princess Charlotte. "Great. Very, very happy". Her Royal Highness will no longer carry out her planned engagement at the Homsey Road Children's Centre in London today.

Saying thank you for the present, she turned to William and joked: "We will just have to have more babies". With three small children under the age of 5, many royal critics believe that the Duchess will struggle to keep her family life in order while fulfilling her royal duties. Even though Queen Elizabeth has four children herself, everyone else in the royal family only has two children. On the same day that Kate's pregnancy was announced as she canceled a royal engagement, Carol was spotted leaving the Palace in the evening in a black Range Rover after spending the afternoon with Kate.

As of right now, there's no news on how far along Kate actually is but guessing from the time her previous pregnancies were announced, she might be due around April or May.

Britain's monarchy has ridden a wave of public support in recent years due to the emergence of the younger royals, William, Kate and William's brother Harry. The announcement was made via a statement from Kensington Palace.
