Apple has finally started selling an adapter that lets you charge your iPhone while listening to music with your headphones plugged in at the same time. "I never had a single issue with my 7+ before last night and now suddenly it's like this phone is stuck in quicksand". There present only one option rather charge the product or use the headphones in iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, and the same in iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.
The problem arises because your old iPhone was likely running iOS 11.0.1 when you backed it up but the new iPhone that you just pulled out of the box is running iOS 11 (or even older).
Researchers at Harvard University conducted a study on this planned obsolescence by Apple after many reports appeared accusing Apple of sabotaging its older iPhone models. The news comes merely few days after the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus went for sale in several markets.
Apple has been receiving reports of their iPhone 8 Plus bursting, this is within weeks of the device hitting the stores.
With the iPhone 8, you can now have wireless charging due to it having a glass back. The best move for users stuck in the middle is to hold off on any update until there is word from Apple as well as a palpable working solution made available. The music quality is nearly the same as when it is plugged into the iPhone.

By default, audio will continue to play on your Apple iPhone or iPad until the 3.5mm jack connection is established with your pair of headphones.
But if you have the iPhone 7, you really don't need to upgrade to the iPhone 8 because it really isn't that much of an upgrade.
